Looks like they squared up the front end.
And it also appears to have lost the round wheel openings in favor of squared ones.

Hard to tell under the camo, but it's kinda encouraging.

Yeah, it's pretty big.
I'm disappointed about that.
I bet this thing ends up being almost as large as a GMT-800.

Wish it stayed the size of the current Colorado. For me, that's the perfect size.

That size plus the new truck engines would of made quite the truck.

I've been saying for years that the 3.6 V-6 should have been an option in the Colorado.

Yup, looks like it lost the goofy (not fit for a truck) equinox nose. If this truck is similar to the 2014 Silverado in styling I think it will do very well.

Won't even be close to GMT800 size (which is the same as GMT900 size).

I think it is very much the same size as the current Colorado. Maybe a bit wider?

It will be about the size of the current Colorado, which is also about the size of the last S-10.

The GMT-800 is almost the same size as the new 2014 trucks.

I for one wouldn't mind if the next Colorado crew cab had a little more rear leg room. The last Colorado was too small in the back.

Well, I was wrong.
When comparing the current U.S. Colorado to the new Holden Colorado, the new model is only marginally larger than the current model.
Length: 207.1 (old) to 208.7 (new)
Width: 68.6 (o) to 70.9 (n)
Height: 67.9 (o) to 70.9 (n)
Weight: 4070 (o) to 4418 (n)

It picked up over 2 inches in width and 3 inches in height, so maybe that's why it looks so much bigger.
But I'm guessing the length of the U.S. spec version will be greater than the overseas model because of our longer beds.
And the weight! Wow! Picked up about 400 lbs. If the top engine is a 285 hp 3.6 V-6, the new truck won't be/feel any faster than the current I5 version.

To hear GM talk about it, they're really making it seem like it is the replacement for the full size truck of years ago.

Yeah, you can't widen a vehicle 2 inches without picking up some weight... a good reason to have kept it at it's current size.

I'd bet that it WILL have those.

The foreign market Colorado has round wheel openings. I'm not sure if anyone in the States likes those on the foreign market Colorado.

Except GM now has an even better option with the truck focused 285hp 305tq 4.3 V6.

I like the squared off openings. Every full size Chevrolet truck since 1973 has had "square" openings. Even the 55-59 GM trucks had squarish openings way beck when.

Hopefully they make it look like a truck and not the early versions that looked like a traverse with a bed slapped on it.

Still don't like the rear window on the extended cab with how it flares up on the bottom. Just make it square across so it cleans up the lines to the top of the bed.
