Did you see the blue 03 Cobra Shelby drove up in? It had the fugliest wheels I've ever seen!

Anyone notice that the first two episodes of "RIDES" were about Fords?

Yeah i did notice that. Maybe it is a show produced by ford? But i have to admit the car looked awsome in action. Also i was sure that the vette would be able to beat the GT. But i don't think they will be able to surpass this Cobra. But we will see. It was a very nice car and it was nice to see Carol Shelby that happy for the car. He doesn't got much time left in him.

Is this the concept Cobra that may not see production? It looks great, a beautifully crafted chassis. I suspect no one has pictures of the body?

Ya i noticed that too, im hoping its just coincedence, still a cool show.

I personally think the new Shelby Cobra is just plain ugly, although its a beast and a half.

Yeah it is the concept Cobra (more like a prototype though since it was a running/functioning model). The concept probably won't be too far from the production model (if approved) just like the GT40 concept and production GT (basically identical).

A lot of pieces like the chassis, brakes, suspension, spaceframe, etc... is shared with the Ford GT. That leads me to believe that it will see production and will come on as a cheaper replacement to GT. Atleast that's what the clues from Mays, etc... point to.
