I don't know if I'd drive one (I would need to test drive, to be sure), but I do really like the looks of it. I wouldn't feel embarrased to be seen in one.

Huge improvement. Probably still not for me, but I would not want to off myself if I had to drive one.

Doesn't look that different to me, IE: still ****ty. And if you don't think that beetles are turds, then you've probably never worked on or driven one.

Couldn't be worse than working under the hood of a T-Bird SC or a V8 4th gen, and they aren't turds.

I love the new look. I saw one in person two months or so ago and my jaw dropped. The "new beetle" looks pretty lame and girly, unlike the "new new beetle". If I could option out the turbo version for 20k I would be buying one, however such is not the case.

Still haven't seen one in person, but in pictures i think they look cool. Hopefully in another model year or two they upgrade the drive train options.
