What a treat THAT would be to find parked in your hotel parking lot!

This all but confirms the one-big-slot front grille opening... not sure if I am happy about that...

I hate slamming the looks of car before seeing it, but the big grille slot and especially the fixed headlights are tough on me.

 

In the photo of the top, it almost looks like a C5 Callaway styled hood. I just hope that they don't cartoon it styling wise. That overhead shot also shows a very well rounded dash. Very nice from the sky.

EDIT -- and wtf is that red car in the background of the 5th pic? Looks like an XLR coupe, but I can't tell for sure...

 

I thought the same thing about the T-Tops, I wonder if that XLR is testing out the new 6.0L V8

Around here in Michigan XLR's run around everywhere...

 

I seriously doubt GM would put t-tops back in the Vette. A one-piece targa top is alot more efficient and easier to remove. Plus I don't think the structure of the Vette would need the added stability that the t bar would give. It's pretty stiff as it is now. I'm thinking that they're just putting some tape across the roof of the cars to give it the illusion and throw people off. The biggest thing that stuck out to me was the center hood bulge and the squared off back hatch glass. Reminds me of the C4.

 

I agree I don't think there is any T-top but more of a continuation of the bulge on the hood to give it a more race worthy look to it from a side angled top view..

The rear reminds me of the C4 but I can't help thinking that the rear glass will have a center split in there...

 

Even XLR coupes???

I had thought the C5 was the best looking Vette ever. I'll hold off on the asskissing of Bowling Green employees until I see official shots, from every angle.


But, it looks promising!

 

So far, I think I'm going to like it. It appears to not stray too far from the C5, but yet it seems to look a little lower and longer. And I like that hood, from what I can tell.
