Hot Rod Magazine, Torana and F-body.

I guess the guys at Hot Rod read the internet. They've got a blurb in the Feb issue about the Torana and the rumor that it may be the basis of the next F-car.

Sort of an interesting cycle if people here are saying GM is looking at Torana, then a magazine runs with what it read here and we bring the article back here and say "see, I told ya GM was looking at Torana!"

I haven't seen the blurb but this is one reason I don't subsribe to any mags except GMHTP. I buy it for the tech and comparo articles, but I find all other mags useless these days because I can get the same or better info faster via the web.

Here's another quote from the Feb '05 Hot Rod and David Freiburger.

"If GM can recover in the entry-level performance car market, it will take a serious effort with a new Camaro, not with an Ecotec."
