Droool, droool..... another very, very beautiful VE car. Awesome job Holden.... I just hope it gets to be brought to market!

OK, I've looked at the pics a couple of times now and I have to say that I really don't see the Coupe 60 as a Camaro, GTO or Chevelle... yes indeed. In fact, it looks eerily like the GTO artwork from MT a couple of years ago that someone was nice enough to post again. Very nice but it doesn't scream Camaro... I think GM has done a nice job so far with the 5th gen car and this car as Camaro would be labeled as too bland to carry that name... Very Euro and Audi-esque but lacking in Camaro-ness for sure.

As a new GTO it would be great - euro like the last one but crisper and more contemporary looking.... now approve and build it for NA markets too.

I am (sort of) doing just that Kris.

I'm about 2 - 3 years from buying a new car for myself. My short list as of today:

Camaro
Mustang
BMW 135
Solstice GXP coupe (if it appears)
lightly used C6 ZO6

What are the dimensions of the C60? Is it smaller than the 5th Gen Camaro? I'm really digging the C60, and would love to see it brought over for Pontiac, and was wondering about its size.

It's 190" long with a 114" wheelbase.

I was envisioning one trim level. A vehicle like this would be a new GTO and probably premium only.

So it's not any smaller than the 5th Gen Camaro. It does look proportional and looks small from the pics.

It's probably the lowered stance and 21" wheels which create the illusion. This here is no small car, neither the Camaro be.

Yeah. I was hoping it'd be a smaller and thus lighter package. I'm still very interested though.

When is Alpha supposed to come online? I'd like to see some concepts based off of that chassis.

here is a pic of the coupe 60 overlayed on a VE commodore.

Note the shorter boot and lowered roof. Size is pretty close to the G8 (which is big!) so this would be quite a bit bigger than the camaro.

Camaro will be essentially the same size.

I told you GM should have saved the pennys on the gimmicky Camaro interior and just used the standard G8 interior.

I see this being built if the G8 sedan and UTE do not keep Holden factories running full tilt.

Are you attempting to say the Camaro and G8 will be essentially the same size.

It won't be built in Australia as it is essentially a Camaro in disguise. That means our Canadian friends will see it before anybody.
