Now I'm tempted to stay up an extra 13 minutes...

Is this a Blue Devil reference?

I'm a saaaaaaaaaaaad paaaaaaanda. (since this is not a Vette reference )

Interesting, but my first impression is :blah: or maybe ...

I see sort of a conglomeration of Z4, 350Z, and something Audi-ish in the rear 3/4 view.

EDIT: Looked again. What the heck is up with the wheel wells being rounded up front but slashed/angled at the back? And I do NOT think it looks like a mini-Viper, which blogger John Neff mentions in his writeup. That is an insult to the Viper, which is far sexier.

Sounds a lot like the Solstice formula (similar to Miata, but wider and heavier, uses a 2.4L 4 cylinder, etc.). Except the Solstice looks better. The Dodge could make up ground in the interior and top design areas, though; those are the Solstice weak spots.

Hmmm, I dunno, just not feeling that styling. The rear fender area looks like a last minute addition, not at all part of the overall design. And I'm still not crazy about Dodge's blunt front ends.

Im having a hard time liking it. The front almost looks like an AC Cobra, but the opening is way out of proportion.

Looks too bulky. It doesn't look like it is cutting throug the air like a viper, and it doen't look it is swallowing mass amounts of air like the charger. It looks plump and soft.
...but at 2600lbs, and talk of a 300hp engine

Another ressurection of an old name and another exceptionally weird way of using it.

+1

I thought the Demon was a twin to the Duster and a psudeo pony car. It isn't that bad, though.
