cruze facelift?

Saw this about a supposed facelift for the 2013 cruze. Looks pretty good, and more aggressive. Not sure if this will make the cruze haters like it more or not though. It seems really soon for a facelift. Could it be some sport or ss version? I know they've said no ss, but thats what it honestly looks like. Could all be bs

Re: cruze facelift?

I don't like the Chevy "corporate" front end on anything, not just this.

Re: cruze facelift?

I like it. It looks more aggressive/sporty. 2013 isn't too soon when you consider the Cruze has been out since 2009 in other countries. USA was late in getting it. I hope they do interior updates too. A stale interior dooms cars more than the exterior.

The current interior is big high point of this car imo, its a nice place to be.

Looks like the grill GM had on the Z-spec Sema car.

Re: cruze facelift?

I like the honeycomb grille better, this just reminds me of all those "billet" grilles out there

I agree that the current interior is nice, but the competition isn't going to stand still, they will release ones that are even nicer. Seems like now a days an interior is only good for about 3-4 model years. Silverado was great when it came out. Now people shopping for brand new trucks consider it very dated next to Dodge and Ford trucks.

I like it, except for the giant bowtie.

Re: cruze facelift?

I really like the new grill area, but I'm not really feeling the triangle shaped fog light area. Looks out of place.

Re: cruze facelift?

I don't like the triangle fog lamps either. I prefer the current version with the new grill. But then I'm not exactly their target buyer.

Re: cruze facelift?

The triangle fog lamp areas look like something off of a Hyundai.
Not a good look to me.

And is the bottom of the lower grille pointier than the current one, or is it just the angle the picture was taken?

Re: cruze facelift?

You know, it's really hard to tell, because to me, it appears the headlights and fender flares have been revised, but I think it's just the angle of the pics

Some Cruze trim levels overseas have headlamps with no black inside the housing. Thats what these appear to be.
