Some Repulicans yes, Bush NO. Part of the reason the SSR soap commercial (were they almost say the "s" word ) was taken off the air was because of nutty religiuos and conservative groups, the same ones that back Bush and make a stink about Howard Sern and the Janet Jackson thing. We don't need any more of these people around taking away our 1st amendment rights (or cool GM commercials)

I'd like to see GM put all its commercial on the web, no matter how "controversial" they are.

Both sides have complete a**holes trying to dictate what you see & read.

On the "so-called" liberal side, you have safety advocates & others who think they have to dictate what you see & read or you'll destroy yourself, and you have the exact same thing with "so called" conservatives (think Janet Jackson's split second boob display and the absolute BS pressure the government is placing on broadcasting companies that carry Howard Stern) who don't trust you enough to believe that if you see or hear something you don't like, you're too stupid to change the station, and that will be the end of American civilization.

Both sides have a group of people who are fascist, anti-democratic, and want to push their own views and agenda on the rest of us, and lord help you if you disagree.

There's no such thing as "Conservative" or "Liberal". There are simply control freaks who are anti personal freedom, and the rest of us. It's just a matter of which part of your life that person or group wants to control.

When you vote, vote for the person not the label.

Someone must have been recording the game and been playing with the pause button afterwards. I saw it, but didn't really notice.

I don't think I've gotten that old yet.

I liked that C6 commercial, I thought it was pretty cool. I figured someone would have a fit over a kid driving a car like that though.

is there anyway we can get the address of this "organization" to sent a few letters to them ourselves?? We can get most of cz28.com and all the vette forum to sent a few letters. See how they like a taste of their own medicine.

Very good idea! Lets get something rolling, I am tired of all this anti-GM BS. If it were a Camry commercial nothing would have been said.

Does anybody know if the commercial is online anywhere?

Why didnt these people get all crazy when Mitsu was throwing stuff out the back of a truck at oncoming cars? Or how about the brake test one?
How about the one with the tC in a "video game" racing against these 2 cars? A video game is just as real as a dream.

let's not even waste the energy...I personally believe there are more factors about this ordeal in play than we know about...The General is the biggest carmaker in the world, and they have enough $$$$ to buy and sell every poster on this board many times over...Believe me; if GM wanted to fight to have the commercial rolling again, it would be on every station with a 24-hour loop...but it's not, so i'm not worried in the least...let GM fight their own battles (I don't think they need any help from us)

Ahahaha, that would be awesome! GM just forces several tv stations to roll a 24hr marathon of GM commercials. Everything from Cobalt, to the Pontiac infomercial, to Saab, to Hummer.
Then at the end, Lutz, Wagoner, and Cowager have a quick 15 min commerical saying that they dont care what they say, and that they will run these commercials as much as they want, when they want, and how they want, and you can cry to someone who gives a crap.
Now thats MY GM.
