2014 Focus Electric Drop $4,000 [UPDATE 3]
I wouldn't mind leasing one of these for a 2nd vehicle at that price. Once they get the range up over 150 miles I'll consider one for the wife. |

Wow, all these car makers are willingly losing money on these cars. Hopefully, there is a big payoff in the long run, but man that's quite the investment.

The big payoff comes next time gas prices spike and you can leave the unprepared competition in your dust. Ford, is light years ahead of someone like Chrysler. |

Though not the exact same type of vehicle, I wonder if this will put pressure on GM to lower the price of the Volt? I know they ave rebates on the hood but lowering the MSRP makes it look like the technology cost is dropping and that they are just not just trying to clear out inventory.
