2013 Ford Fusion NASCAR
They actually did a decent job on the front.
Ford reveals fresh new face for its 2013 Fusion NASCAR racer
The Fusion plug-in hybrid in this pictures looks awesome. I really like this new car. Looks like an Aston Martin sedan.

Wow that would be a nice change from the current car!
I had been hearing about how NASCAR was going to "touch up" the exteriors for 2013 to more resemble a for sale version but never thought they would get that close.

The very front end of the race car actually looks BETTER than the stocker.
And I just can't get past the character line running thru the door handles of the stocker. It's just plain wrong. WRONG!!

Nascar should make the manufacturers make a real 2 door model for the street to be able to run it in Nascar like the old days. I prefer watching the old style races on Speed when they show the manufacturers running real street cars with roll cages and a slightly pepped up stock engines. Cost the racers a lot less and the general public can relate more. No more win on Sunday sell on Monday relationships with the cars they run now.

At least we would get some trickle down technology then.

Re: 2013 Ford Fusion NASCAR
I think what would be best is to give each team X amount of fuel and then let them run what ever engines they want. Too powerful and you run out of fuel before the race is over, too efficient/conservative and you can't keep up with the pack. May the best technology win. Maybe even give fuel credits to whom ever leads the lap to keep them fighting for 1st the whole race.

The whole car looks better. That's a nice coupe. Put the 5.0 in that thing, make it rear wheel drive or if you have to keep it front wheel drive put that turbo V6 in there. Make it the Fusion GT Coupe.

Re: 2013 Ford Fusion NASCAR
You post this in just about every NASCAR oriented thread. Would be like me running into every NBA thread I could find to tell everyone how much I hate it. However, that would be a waste of time, and basically interferes with those that do care. I guess I just miss the point.
