Yep. It would be like the V8. 91 is recommended, but not required.

For instance, on the SRT8, 91 is required.

Of course, maybe they did make actual changes. However, I would question why they would spend much money to get 8hp. Adding a premium tune is incredibly cheap, and easy.

No real changes. They said they rated it conservatively. Which to me says you were right. They are now rating it for higher octane fuel.

I read the release, and it doesn't look like they did anything. It looks like all they did was get it certified, as is, and this is the new rating.
