The interior doesnt look gutted. Sterio is still there. Passenger set my have been removed. It looks to have the stock rims.

I'm impressed!

I really want to find out when GM will release the pricing on these...

I wonder how many of these will fail during the 100k mile powertrain warranty? From what I've read, the engine is stout, but I can just see our types flogging the crap out of these...

Not to mention all the additional onboard equipment GM typically loads up on the cars when they test there.

Oh my god. The Cobalt board is ablazed with people complaining that...

1.) You cant hear the blow-off valve

2.) Car didnt get a six speed.

3) LSD is an option and not standard. (Dont know if that is true, but i wouldnt mind it being standard)

4.) That it looks to much like the SS/SC

5.) The tires are making a lot of noise around the track

They are also critiquing Johnny Heinricy driving skills.

I guess if you never owned the same car in AWD to compare it to, your preception might be that it's ok.
But it's not.
Ehh.. I think they've come a long way to say they are completely useless.

I've been pretty lukewarm to the car since its inception. I'll be the first to admit that I'm fairly impressed now. I'm not sure if the SS/SC had Brembo brakes, but those are a damn nice touch on any car, let alone one under $25k.

Damn, I would not want to work in that engine compartment.

Reason 183740281 I will never buy a compact car.

THAT engine compartment?! It's a dream come true, if you ever tried working in an f-body engine compartment.

Or take a look at Audi S4/RS4, where they stuck a V8 into the space so tight that if I'm not mistaken, some accessories had to be moved from the front of the engine to the back. Replacing ANYTHING there is just major time, which is major $$$.

Take a look at this!

You've got that right. He's like a driving machine.

99.5% of us schmucks on the internet aren't even worthy to carry his helmet bag when it comes to driving.

there actually not to bad.

i wasnt really a big fan of the old ss. If you ever driven the car it just doesn't feel fast it felt gutless. at the local track they seemed to run bad ets most low to mid 16's . im glade they went to a new motor but i still dont think this will be a killer car. to me the ss is a car you would want to buy and have fun commuting to work. I wouldn't want it for my weekend warrior though.
