2004 Supra

The latest issue of Automobile Magazine has a sketch of the 2004 Supra. I know there are only so many ways one can design a car but, what do ya think, look a bit like a Chevy SS?

Yeah I'd say it resembles SS in many ways.

It also looks like it will be pretty gutless.

Warning to blocks of cheese everywhere: look out

I cant even imainge the Supra looking close to that. While the previous generations werent exactly bland, they werent over the top like that.

There has been a really nice Supra rendition in one of the magazines about 3 months back (or more), and it looked nothing like this drawing.

Anyhow, the new Supra will come with two engines - V6 and V8, both naturally aspirated. No turbo version planned.

I remember hearing about the possible use of the V8 awhile back but they only mentioned a V6 in the article.

The sketch of the Supra has more balanced proportions than the SS which is just too jello mold-like for me. Sorry to have to say it. I don't care for the Supra's pointy snowplow nose either (over the top as someone else pointed out), but otherwise it's fairly pleasing to behold I suppose.
