Tires wearing

This is the forum where i thought it would be best placed, since you guys know more about suspension. Anyway-

My dad is looking into buying a 02 SS M6 with only 14k miles. The car is absolutley perfect, but for some reason the front tires are pretty worn. I believe the drivers side tire is almost bald. My dad can't remember if the car pulled that much though. Is there anything suspension related that would cause one tire to wear more than the other?

Is it bald all the way across the tread?

maybe the two in the front are not the same age

if they are, that's weird. like steve said, wear?

could be alignment on that side

I believve they were the same all the way acrross the tread.

I was just thinking.....maybe the guy roasted the back tires, and then put them on the front

Agressive street driving would wear the left front the most as that is the tire generally doing the most work on exit ramps and cloverleafs.

Is there anything suspension related besides alignment that would cause this? My dad just doesn't want to have to replace anything expensive.
