Okay guys, help me pick out what springs to get...
Here's the deal...
I just picked up a 2002 SS. It does not have the SLP level II suspension, but from what I gather, there is indeed a suspension difference between the SS and the Z28 (someone correct me if I am wrong). Anyway, I want to reduce the gap in the wheel wells and to accent the Simmons wheels I am going to put on it very soon (17x9 in front, 17x 10.5 in rear). I have a set of Bilstein shocks ready to put on, and I need to pick out the best springs to put on the car with the shocks.
I want a nice stance, but not too low. I want handling improvement but a semi-decent ride. I would like to go to long tube headers in the future so I need to be concerend with clearance issues with that.
So, which springs should I go with? Any advice? Thanks in advance!

2002 Camaro SS
Jeeze! Must be nice to be able to have a new SS! Oh wait, OOPS! I'll shut up now. Congrats and welcome to the '02 SS Club. What color & options? C'mon details.
A friend of mine got the G2 springs from LG Motorsports for his '99 Firehawk.

He also put on revalved Bilstiens. The car dropped about 1.5" and still has an acceptable ride quality. Of course it handles a lot better than my SS too thanks to new LCAs, adj torque arm, PHB, relocation brackets (all BMR).

Dont use the Intrax, those are what I have and you know from experiance how low they are. I am changing them this winter during the motor buildup.

Jason... I have the G2 springs on my car and they lowered the car 1-1/2 inches in the front and slightly more than that in the rear.
I put them on with new Bilsteins and I think the car rides smoother over most surfaces than with my stock Z-28 springs and shocks. I was worried before I put them on about street driving and clearance issues, but I have had none since I lowered it.
I don't have pictures of it since I lowered it to help you see though.

Jason,
i would suggest a progressive rate spring for your application. it will be more forgiving in normal driving but still perform for you in the twisties. linear rate springs will are better for competition but thats it.
i have H&R springs, like em alot. they dropped the car about 1.5" i would also suggest the Eibach Pro Kit. Not sure what the ratings on the G2 springs are but people seem to be pleased with them.
enjoy the new ride, i'm sure the simmons wheels will look sweet!
