Are you sure they cant just stay there? I dont get why you cant just keep the old fog lights. I would rather not change them.

Re: Who would be interested in a different headlight assembly for 93-97 Camaro's?

Hmm maybe you're right. I've tried several things, and nothing looks better than the stock ones.

These might look ok with the new headlights, but I have no idea what they are. But anyway, they are already produced, so no need for Focuztech to make them.

Here are the revised photochops:

--Focuztech--- One thing I think all of us would like, is if the entire headlight could be painted flat black on the inside. I don't think anybody wants it chrome like most headlights are. Please keep that in mind. We want it to match the little black triangle on the outside of the bumper/headlight area.

Re: Who would be interested in a different headlight assembly for 93-97 Camaro's?

FocuzTech,

Darn good thing I mentioned you here then! Funny how the only reason I even
signed onto this forum is someone hit my 93 Camaro, and I am swaping to a
98 front clip and was looking for advice/proceedure. Glad I could zero you in
on these guys, and get this project going! I will be taking my front end apart
in the next week. I finally found a front clip, though its gold. The price is
right and it comes with headlights and fog lights. I can take measurements
for you if you cant find something locally. I'm also a computer design drafter,
and can draw something up if needed. I just designed & had machined, some
adapters to mount '03 Mustang Cobra 13" brakes on my '63 Studebaker Avanti.

Guys,

FocuzTech made some NICE lights for the Impala SS, go to their website and
check them out. As I mentioned, and others, a dark background like the ones
they created for the Impala SS is a given on the Camaro. I like the effort on
the photo shop, but I am not convinced on the 3 lights. I think that two are
quite enough, unless its two large and one small. The two large should have
the optional "DevilEye" thats offered on the Impala SS lights. If you want this
done, FocuzTech will make it happen. You might be skeptical, as we were on
the Impala forum, but they came through with a product. Considering how
much these stock headlights cost, AND they suck, something has to be done.
Before you ask, no I dont work for FocuzTech, and I didnt buy their setup for
my Impala SS clone, but my buddy bought a set, and just put them on a few
weeks ago. They look sweet.

I think that two equal size large lights, one low beam, and one high beam, and
then a small light in the inner tight corner would work nice, if your set on 3.

Re: Who would be interested in a different headlight assembly for 93-97 Camaro's?

I hope this picture turns out okay. I had to nab it from an old post I did since I am unable to access any posting cites out here. The pic is of my PIAA fog lights on my car. I think they look great. I am not sure why we need to change the fogs as well, but these are the best looking ones IMO. They cost about $300, but they look and work excellent.

Brangeta, could you send me your new pics? Also, Focuz Tech, I agree that some may want a black inside to the headlamp, but some may not. Any way we could get some varients on the finished product? Perhaps having some with a halo eye, some with out, some with Black inside, some with silver? If it will be too much of a pain, I would guess that the most popular single option would be the black halo.

BTW, CALL911 is also my licsence plate. I used it because back home it was more of a defying authority thing. I always got a smile on my face when I would think of what went through someone's mind as I blew by them in my Z, and they read my plate .

Re: Who would be interested in a different headlight assembly for 93-97 Camaro's?

With regards to options, we would leverage what we have already done on the SS...which is:

Halogen or HID in 90mm's.
Unfinished Semi Matte Black, Gloss Black, Body color matched, or chrome backgrounds....your choice.

Optional Devil EyeSS™ for those who want them.

Complete wiring harness thats plug and play....no splicing or cutting.

Independantly adjustable modules...for hi and low beam aiming.

We have everything in-house to do this and will be reviewing the molding requirements this week.

I will have to look at space requirements in having three lamps in each headlamp enclosure.

2 lamps is fine with me. I just want to see something cool that looks appropriate.

I'm personally interested in something that has pods within it, like these two pics:

Re: Who would be interested in a different headlight assembly for 93-97 Camaro's?

Focuz Tech, will the 90mm bulbs be the same style as the Hella 90mm ones? There is a thread on here of Camaro owners that have swapped just thier bulbs for the Hella 90mm, and I must say that the quality of the light they put out is outstanding! The problem with just swapping the bulbs as I see it is that they make the Camaro's look UGLY, so I never considered it even though the lights were great.

Also, can we expect similar prices to your Impala SS ones in the $500 range? Or is it too early to give us a guestimate on the price?

We only use Hella Optics (for the most part). Hella provides the best optical quality product we can find at pricing that allows us to build affordable lamps. Not to mention they are SAE (or ECE) approved off the shelf.

I would like to see it wind up there but yes, it is too early to tell.

Also...some of the pics posted of cars listed in this thread use the Hella 90mm modules.

We are looking for a car or front clip to send to our molders. I have already discussed the design with them now we need to make sure everything fits.

couldnt possibly any further away. Thats ok as long as this turns out successful. What would you think the price of the unit would cost? Im not a business guy but I assume you would have to make a certain amount and charge accordingly. So the more orders the cheaper. If it would help i know of a few people who might as well be interested in buying a set. But Id like to give them and myself a ball park to work with. As of now I am figuring the price for the Impala lights.
