What do you think of this set up?

Ok... I have a black 1996 Z28 SS. It has stock exterior.. so what would you think of this

- White reflective 35th anniversary stripes (go to http://www.3rdgendecals.com/CustomerPages/Adam.htm to see them)

- Chomed exhaust (the SLP two on the left one)

- Red relective inserts for the Camaro letters between the rear lights (and the red inserts for the steering wheel air bag)

What do you think of that set up? Any other suggestions?

I like the strips over the hood and roof... NOT the crap on the doors, and certinally not those gross tail lights...

I wouldn't bother with the inserts... But thats just me ;)

You should get the inserts done the same color as the stripes, IMO... I think it would look pretty cool!

E

If you like it thats all that matters. I love inserts and racing stripes... but the lights suck. and I dont know if you should put both sets of stripes on.. its a little bit overdone likethat... say either the door stripes or the hood stripes.

btw why the 93-95 salad shooters on that SS? is it a real one or what?

Nope...it has been hashed out here before, I would look for the thread, but I just don't want too...:o

If that's what you want, go for it! As for my opinion, I don't think any of that (that you mentioned) sounds too bad...but the inserts do need to match the stripes, or it might look like a 1st Grader got ahold of it :D:D The refelective stuff is extremely ex$$$pen$$$$$ive though from what I have heard. Check around on that Adam guys site (there is a link to it somewhere off of 3rdgendecals.com) and he even says it is very costly. But it sounds like it would look good...a lot of folks don't like that reflective stuff, but I don't think it would look to bad...

I say stick with one color though, or blend three in nicely and carefully, or it will look kind of sloppy/cheap.

i agree

I considerd making the inserts the same colour and I thought it would make it a little too black and white, and I thought the red inserts would flow with it because at the front of the car on the licence plate (I don't wear my front one) is the red chevrolet bowtie. so I figured, start it off with the red bowtie, go into the white stripes, then end it with the red inserts (if you see what I mean)

oh and Salad shooters? What is that?
