Thats the same bulbs that 98-02 Camaro's run. There are brighter bulbs than the ones they list though.

Yeah, I used 65w lows and 80w highs. Upgrade harness should be here ina few days.

I did that and it's not the same as having HID's
My lights are white, but not bright white light. I should have used pure blue bulb instead of white.

I wasn't going for the HID's I just wanted an improvement over the factory junk. I can always do a true HID conversion later I used some 8000k bulbs from Fantex. The bulbs were blue but they produce a very white image.

I'm not talking HID. Don't buy into all the 8000K blue bulb marketing hype either.

i have this same mod on my camaro and it makes a complete difference....
way better than stock and actually light up the road.

Well, it looks like now we have it both ways, typical! Everyone has a different opinion. I got what I was looking for and I'm happy, glad that you other guys(Minus, Critter) are satisfied too. I hope no1 takes this as a disrespect b/c I just wanted an improvement over stock. I can't possibly imagine that this goal is that hard to attain!

one thing i forgot to say was. the light bulbs are way cheaper to replace when they burn out.
