Ultra Z Aftermarket Hood for 93-97 Camaro???

Does anyone know if any companies make an aftermarket Ultra Z hood for 93-97 Camaros?? I know that VFN makes one of the 98-02 Camaros but I have searched everywhere and haven't been able to find one for the 93-97's.

Thanks!

They are out there on the internet but cost around $700.00, not the kind of money I would want to spend on a hood. I didn't save any links but I've seen them by google searching.

The UltraZ hood is an aftermarket hood. As far as I know, there are no reproductions, so you'll have to pay good money for the original. If you're lucky enough to find one used, you can save some money on it that way.

700 bucks might seem expensive for a hood at first, but it's worth it to pay good money for quality body panels. An ill-fitting hood can take your paint and body guy several hours to straighten up, and those labor costs could drive up the final price of a cheap hood to a a higher cost than what a good, pricier hood would have cost you up front.

I know that it's an aftermarket, I guess what I meant to say is there an "off Brand" that makes them since SLP stopped production.

You'll probably need to have some luck and find a used SLP one. Even rarer, there was an Ultra-Z spoiler I've only seen one time.

Good luck finding one. I had trouble finding one 5 years ago but i did, it was on ebay and it was new and the kicker is I won the auction for $250.00 .. I couldn't believe it . I paid more for the air box than the hood.(unpainted of course). I think the company that had it was called Hot Deals if that helps.

youngsfbody used to sell them, but was just on their site and looks like they now only have 98-02 ones.

Might check with VFN, I would bet they would make you one.

hawksthirdgenparts used to as well, but they no longer do either.

edit: this place has them listed for sale still

http://www.ftpp.net/9397Fbodyappearance.htm

I may have to order one quick

The Ultra Z hood is harder to find than the SS imo.
