ok, i know ive seen taller SS hoods (like 3" tall, and NOT THE STINGER HOOD)
just wondering if anyone knows where i can find one at?

VFN fiberglass is where you want to look. yes they have them, and they are badass. i kinda want to sell my 4" Cowl and get one!

I have a 4" cowl sitting in the garage, and im selling it to get the tall ss hood

I purchased pne of those hoods a few years ago. Looks absolutley awesome.
I have one problem with it though, It makes me look faster then I am.:cool:

As with all fiberglass, fitment there may be an issue but the piece I picked up from VFN was pretty close. The passenger side tip of the hood was a little bowed but we got that to work.

Here is a picture of my car with the vfn 3" ss high rise hood. Vfn is the place that sells them. Little hint -- Tell them your a ls1tech member and I think you get 10% off. I know you get a good discount- but just make sure you tell them your ls1tech site member since they are a sponser on that site. Or wait for a gp to come along on the ls1tech site like I did. You can save over100.00 like I did on my hood - Mike
