i was helping a friend look around dealerships, and i saw a really nice 98+ ws6 that looked in really nice condition, and i assume low mileage (damn thing was 20k), so i just had to creep on it. the seats looked awesome! they had headrests, and much better side supports than my camaro seats. so i got the idea of maybe swapping a set into my car. did the same seats come on all trans ams? and are they really better than the camaro ones? thanks

Others have swapped them in and I looked into this a long time ago so I don't remember if they used the same mounts. They definitely look better than the ones that came in the Camaro's.

its gm, so im sure they swap over. so all trans ams had the same seats? if i have to find good condition leather seats off a ws6, itll get pricey fast.

Direct swap......I have them aswell Trans Am and Formula seats different headrests....
However, in order for the seats to function properly you need to get the harness that runs under the carpet that controls the air system for.the bolster/lumbar support.

isnt that system self contained? and its not looking likely that ill do this, since leather seats in good condition seem to be ridiculously expensive

i swaped a whole ta interior in my car. dashboard seats center console pillars ect. all bolts up

ive got a 98 ta and a 02 Z, unfortunately.. as much as i love and i MEAN LOVE!!! my Z over my ta, the ta seats are way more comfty!!!
