anyone here with these seats in a fbody? pics please. Were they difficult to install and did you have to replace the mounting brackets? how was the fit in relation to the door/console?

Re: sparco seats?
I've got Torinos in my car. Get the bolt-on brackets from Sparco and they fit fine. Don't forget the sliders unless you want them fixed.

Re: sparco seats?
the bolt on brackets made my seats sit up too high. so i just fabed up some from some aluminum stock.

Re: sparco seats?
Is there any way to adapt them to the stock seat platform so that I can maintain the power functionality?

Re: sparco seats?
All the power controls are built into the stock seat.
P.S. Here are my Torinos: http://photobucket.com/albums/y185/C...=Finished9.jpg -Chris |
Re: sparco seats?
Thanks. Has anyone been able to adapt a belt guide relatively close to where the stocker is? I imagine the belt would do some damage on the neck without a guide.
If i have some flat brackets made up, could I get the seat to sit no higher than the stock one. I won't fir with a helmet otherwise. |
Re: sparco seats?
I think my seats sit perfect with the Sparco brackets. They're not high at all, but I guess everyone is different. You won't know until you get the seats bolted in.
As far as the belt guide goes, I don't use one. The stock belt rests across the left shoulder restraint when not in use. I'm 5'11" and it barely rubs my neck when in use. It's not overly annoying. -Chris |
Re: sparco seats?
Hmm, I'll have to check that out. Seats are next on the list after the motor is done, but it's hard to get a lot of feedback since it seems to be such rare change on F-bodies. I guess the seats are just so d@mn good, nobody bothers.
