Question Shifter **** Loose Need Cooler one Anyway...

Like every shifter **** I've ever rowed, of course my stock '8-ball' style factory **** is loose. I want to replace it anyway...

Does anyone know where I can get genuine 'antique' skull shift ***** or genuine '8-ball' shift *****? Are there any new, high-tech ***** I may want to consider?

Don't have cash for a complete new shifter yet... But soon!!! I may buy 'The Ripper' just for its name. Who makes that anyway?

Cheers,
Scott

B&M makes the ripper..
many here think the Pro 5.0 is the better shifter though..

As for kewl shift *****, many dont screw on and instead use three set screws. Not sure how good that would be but its most likey how my future Momo shift **** will attach..

I want my shifter to be comfy.. looks are not as important as feel.

I don't know if you'll have the same peoblem that i had, but i tried to get the classic hurst **** and hurst swears it will fit. However, the hole in the shift **** is no where near large enough for the factory stick. I think that Summit has the skull shifter, but i think you will have the same sizing problem.

You, Sir, are a Gawd!!! What a selection of awesome shift *****... I can't decide between their staple 'red flames on black ball' or the clear ball with unicorn inside...

Do you know what material they are made of?

Cheers,
Scott

uh, can't see any shifter ***** on that starlingear link...

The Ripper is very good and a definite improvement over stock. noticeably shorter throw and very solid feeling. also picked up an SLP leather shifter which i really like, feels like a pistol grip or something. LOCK AND LOAD!

I use B&M's hammer head shift ****, and absolutely love it. It's looks kind of big compared to the Hurst T handle shift handle, but it is much more comfortable. It is finished in very smooth chrome which feels great in the hand. I also find it a lot easier to slam it into 2nd to get a nice chirp when taking off. I sometimes had trouble with 2nd to 3rd shifts, but now I feel like I can find where the stick is going to go in the gate when shifting.
