Replacement Seat Covers

Hi all,

I've been sloooowly restoring my 1994 Z28, and was looking for some advice on replacement seat covers. Anyone used the Hampton Vinyl covers that are like leather? They look better than my granite cloth stock covers (that are stained and worn I might add).

I was just going to buy some and have my local upholstery shop refit the foam, and put the covers on for me.

Any better recommendations? Leather is cool, but looking to keep the price under 1K if I can.

I think I like leatherseats.com's pattern and materials best from what I've seen in pictures. They have nice stitching and the quality seems to be high.

Katzkin does the factory patterns exactly I believe, but their covers always look like they fit loose to me. I've always been a little turned off by them. But if you want as close to factory as possible, they may be who to go with.

Hawks Third Gen sells vinyl ones that are really popular. Several guys on here have them if you do a search.

Classic Soft Trim only sells a pattern that is a bit different from stock. It's kind of neat looking though. Neat door panels.

Definitely try reselling your stock covers. There's not really a replacement cloth seat cover company out there that I know of, and some people really like cloth seats and anybody trying to keep their car original is running out of options for replacement.
