rear hatch glass molding
Sorry if this is in the wrong section. I know a lot of you guys have problems with the molding that goes around the rear hatch glass. We have similar stuff at my work, but it's just not quite it. On the gm parts manual I have I got the part# for it, but under gmpartsdirect.com it comes up as 'not found'. Does anyone know the correct part number, or where I can get something similar to it? Thanks, Ted

last year I just went to my local dealer and ordered the molding. I think it was 20$ to 40$ and I don't have the part # for you sorry
It is a one piece seal that goes around the hole window ,I just had mine put in today .
I called a couple of Pontiac dealer and every auto glass place in my area and they all said the glass would have to come out to replace this.
Of coarse they all said if they break the glass taking it out that it would be my problem ,new glass is 400$ to 600$.but I saw no reason why they should have to remove it in the first place.
Anyways I took it in and said here look at it ,so they tried to put it in dry to see if it would work and it did. So they took it out and put some adhesive in the channel and put it on . So I don't think anyone should have to remove the glass. But you never know.
Hope this helps cause I looked and looked for this answerer before I did this to.
