Question about painting/powder coating wheels

My dad has a spare set of wheels with a few blemishes-a little curb rash, some scratches, etc. The wheels on my car also have a few scratches as well. What I was wondering, is if this can be fixed-and what would be the best way to go. I'm assuming they are painted the color they are now-could I take it somewhere and have them fix the blemishes and curb rash or is it too expensive that its not worth it?

My wheels aren't that bad-but his extra set have quite a few marks-just wondering what I could do to make them look better. Any estimates on what it would cost to eitiher get them re painted or powdercoated?

Thanks for any help

i bought a set of badly curb rashed OZ Competitions.
i used aircraft stripper to strip the paint off, then i had a friend that specializes in welding aluminum lay a bead of weld into the rashed lip of the wheels, then he re-machined the lip, then i media blasted them and had them powdercoated back to the original silver color.

blasted.

my friend that did the aluminum work only charged me $80 and the powdercoater only charged me $65, but both were good friends of mine, so i can't give you a regular price that you might get charged.
