As far as the branch falling off. It was a combination of age and wind. That branch when it was part of the tree sits at least 10-15 feet behind where I parked my camaro. I'm still trying to figure out how it made it that far over and cleared the power lines. I got about 50 pics of the car and the tree. I'm still dumbfounded.

I only had basic coverage on it at the time. Homeowners isn't going to cover it. So it was my decision to fix it or trash it. And Its getting fixed. Its cheaper to fix it then try and find another rust free clean shell and swap everything over. My only problemis trying to do the damn pass. window install.
