original finish z06 wheels

original finish z06 wheels
I am looking for original finish z06 wheels for my trans am. I'd like to get them in all 18's but the original sizes would be fine. does anyone know where i can get a hold of these wheels. All i have foung is silver and chrome. Thanks!!

I checked the price myself through my local Chevrolet dealership.
18x10.5 Z06 wheels without center caps or lug nuts were $580 a piece.
Pretty steep for factory wheels, considering you can get really nice billet wheels for this price with custom offsets. Performance Wheel Outlet sells reproduction wheels, but I'm skeptical about their quality, especially for the painted version. You could always buy the cheapest wheel (painted) and have it painted at a local shop to match the factory Z06 color.

I just checked the AAA rims link on this site and was surprised to find they sell OEM wheels on their site for $373.75 (plus $ when buying 4 wheels) for both the 17x9.5 and the 18x10.5. These wheels don't come with center caps or lug nuts, which would need to be bought at a dealership for around another 100 bucks. AAA also offers free shipping for members of this site (60 value).
I like these wheels and want to get them for my camaro, but I'm finding it hard to justify that much for wheels ($1700 for wheels + lug nuts & caps + 1500 for tires). I would go with the reproduction wheels as long as they were made by someone other than Performance Wheel Outlet. I ordered 87 Iroc wheels from them and the casting quality was poor and the customer service sucked. Another guy bought some painted Z06 wheels from them and the run out was over 0.030" and he ultimately had to have them professionally straighten. Just beware who manufactures the reproduction wheels, since my research has discovered P.W.O. to be the main distributor.

He is starting his new business and is pretty successful so far. I just purchased a set of 18x9.5 chrome Z06 rims for like 1100? That price was shipped. And this was ONLY in my situation so please don't do this but since that size wheel was on backorder, he was gratious enough to include 20 FREE chrome lug nuts with my order. The reason being that my order would be a month late due to the company making the rims was on backorder so he wanted to keep the business. I told him that is fine but he would have to email me weekly to let me know the progress. He emailed me weekly and also got the order in early by 2 weeks. SO, I will have my new rims THIS THURSDAY, 2 days.
