New Wheels..... OEM C6's on my 95 Z

will be painting the car very soon (not all of it, but the hood and spoiler and some other crap) but i just got the wheels on today. i bought it with silver C5 Y2k wheels that were just too plain, put the stock salad shooters on after i sold those, then found these suckers. i paid 300 bucks for the set of 4, they are near mint, off a 2005 vette. 18x8.5 in the front and 19x10 in the rear. had to buy adapters for the rear. they are skulte 1.25" billet adapters (high end stuff) so im confident i wont have any problems with them. i got the tires from my work all for free (perks of being a Discount Tire Co. tech) Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 285-35-19 in the rear and i forgot the exact model but Bridgestone Potenza's in the front, 245-40-18 (all the factory vette sizes).

so for just under 400 bucks i went from salad shooters to this.....

are you running lowering springs at all? if so, how much drop and do you have any problems with rubbing, etc?

exhaust i beleive was actually all stock from 95 and it was just a tad too quite so i hacked it off for now right before the muffler, until i run some LTs and duals.hehe

it has BMR lowering springs, and so far no issues at all with rubbing, the rears MIGHT rub if i hit a large dip, but so far nothing.

thanks for the compliments

Love the wheels. If I had them I would cover up the corvette decal in the center caps with a bowtie (red maybe?) logo. I have always loved those wheels, esp on f-bodies.

Those rims look bada$$ on the car! But I don't know why you prefer them over the salad shooters... haha.
