New mod for clear *****

Get some RIT dye (this can be bought at walmart in the fabric section, its the dye used to dye shirts and it also works on plastic)
this stuff is cheap, like 2 bucks

i got the red dye, because my car is dark red.
follow the instructions on the dye box, and bring some water to a boil, add the dye, then using tongs, put the clear ***** into the biolding water/dye mixture, let them sit in there for about 30 seconds or less, if you want them even darker leave them in their longer, take them out, let them dry,

now you have translucent clear ***** in the color of your choice, very very cool

another good thing is that they have TONS of colors of dye, yellow orange red purple blue you name it, this mod looks great, dont have pics yet, i dont have a digi cam, this only takes about 15 or 20 minutes to do, and looks great
it really finishs off the HVAC and light control panels, especially if you have overlays, if anyone does this soon that has a cam take some pics, let us see em, i cant afford a digi cam, haha thats why i been doing these cheap mods, my creative juices having been flowing very well lately

you know, the clear *****? i cant remember what year camaro they are on, but you take your *****, pull them off the dash, and peel off the black cover, and underneath is a wonderfully clear ****, which can be dyed very easily

Thos look real good, and all you did was take the ***** off and take the case off? If so does the case come off easy? And I was wondering were you got that Plate made to say David and Jackies Camaro?

Thx! They were just a little bit of a pain. It took me 10-15 minutes total though.

I got the dash plaque from Stangkillin99ss@aol.com, more of his work can be seen here.
