I just got my headlight bulbs (sent to the wrong zip code
) They are 100w Xenon Krypton.
I got a chance to put them in the other day. Now when you take a few steps away from my car the headlights look blue (see pic)

It's going to take a bit to get used to the color light it throws at night. Looking at the front they are super white (supposed to be the cheap hid look), but from inside the car there seems to be a blue hue to the light.
Over all I'm not so sure the 100w made a huge diff in lighting over the stock Hella FF75's 55w bulbs, other than the color light it puts out.
I do have some daylight picts with the lights on if someone want's to see let me know.

Can you give me some more info on the bulbs (Brand, where you got them, price) so I can put your review on my lighting website???...which is still in progress - if the stupid Charter people would get it hooked up right!
Thanks for the note though.

I was just reading Pontiac Enthusiast (new GTO in it
) and they tested a HID system.
They found the 4500K "seems brighter and illuminates further down the road."
The 5500K was a "cooler, softer light"
That's about what I found in my switch.

This is great info ! These are the kinds of posts that help everybody out.
Indeed, as Halogen bulbs go, the higher you go in color temp, the more ACTUAL illumination you will sacrifice.
I have used 80w 4300k, 100w 5000k bulbs, and 130w 4500k.
The best LOOKING bulbs are the 5000k, but the best illumination came from the 4500k and 80w 4300k.
