New Bulbs.. need # and Opinions

I wanna get new bulbs for my TA. I want the really bright ones like the bmws have. I was lookin around in the Jegs catalog and saw Sylvania bulbs.. are those good?

Ok what i need is this.
1) Part number of the bulbs in the car.
2) An opinion on what are nice clear bulbs.
3) What some of u guys have in ur cars.

I don't want some headlight conversion or nothin.. just the bulb heh. Thanks guys

- A high wattage 4300k bulb would be your best shot.

- Nokya, Showoff, and Silverstar all make 4300k bulbs...

Bad news for you...
Low beam headlamp
Part number = H4703
High beam headlamp
Part number = H4701

Without doing a sealed beam conversion, the best you can get is a replacement sealed beam. You may be able to find one of those cheap looking (IMO) bluish tinted ones at the store or something, but not a Silverstar (they don't make them yet for those sizes).

So you will have to find a replacement sealed beam, then get the bulbs you want. Sorry man, you Firebird guys got it bad. Even worse than us Pre-'98 Camaro guys. At least we can pry our bulbs out of our sealed beams if need be, yours is made into the glass.

I will try to get you some websites for the sealed beam conversions if you are interested.

Just for your future ref. Paul, the only Silverstars that are true 4300k are the Osram Silverstars. The Sylvania's are only rated at a 4000k temp. Just FYI. The Osram's are different because they are European.
