My 2002
7 Attachment(s)
Just a few pics of my 2002 She was a rescue from a semi truck wheel and tire that came loose on the highway. My good friend did all the work and she came out amazing!!!! Not a whole lot done yet other than exhaust and paint. I have a few things I want to look into such as supercharger, throttle body, fuel rail covers, etc.... Point me in the right direction :death:

Re: My 2002
Where's a good place to get the SS emblems. We obviously had to remove all emblems for the repair I figure a nice set in the black billet grill up front will look pretty nice.

Re: My 2002
Got my mobile1 5W30 today and mobile1 filter also I love that this thing literally tells ya when to do an oil change. Btw when it does is it at 3000 miles or does it just go by the viscosity of the oil some how?

Maybe the number of starts, or something else, I dunno? Another recommendation to search Webshots for "Fuel Rail Covers" sample photos. Or send me a PM if seriously interested. |

Re: My 2002
I saw the thread in here about fuel rail covers they look pretty damn sweet but at a bit over $200 it'll be a bit unless there's others out there?

Stolen from GM Oil Life Monitor FAQ
How does the system work? The GM Oil Life Monitor System is not a mileage counter. It is actually a computer based software algorithm that determines when to change oil based on engine operating conditions. There is no actual oil condition sensor. Rather, the computer continuously monitors engine-operating conditions to determine when to change oil. Over the years, millions of test miles have been accumulated to calibrate the system for a variety of vehicles. The system was first introduced in 1988 and is now on more than 10 million GM vehicles. |
