What color do you have now? Some camaros came with a light tan and a light gray material. Personally, I'd try to go for a dark material because they hide dirt a lot better. You'll be a slave to your interior if you get anything too light. The white leather in my Z-28 is about as bad as it gets.

no i mean lighter in weight lol.....im trying to cut weight for the track :)

Well you're just going to be cutting ounces if you're trying to drop weight. I'd look more into just removing the seats you won't be sitting in completely when you take it to the track. Either that or get some lightweight racing seats.
What material is in your car right now? If it's the graphite cloth, that's probably about as light as you're going to get and still have durability. You can look into the other cloths, but they're most likely going to have some sort of foam backing which just adds to their weight. The graphite cloth has no backing IIRC.
I suppose you could have them covered in silk or satin since that would be the lightest you could find, but I don't think either of those would be durable to any extent.
I'd imagine there's a lot better ways to go about dropping race weight...reupholstering your seats really isn't going to be all that fruitful for the money you'll have to put into it.

There is a thread in the general section about weight loss. I posted everything I removed for a grand total ove over 400 lbs in weight savings. The car is still streetable and looks good. Recovering your seats with lighter cloth isnt a good idea as you will only save ounces to 1 lb at most. It takes 100 lbs to drop 1/10 of a sec in the 1/4 so 1 lb isnt going to do anything. Besides it would cost hundreds to recover everything.

Found the link to the thread I was talking about.
