LED Foglight Install on WS6

I finally got around to installing my new Hella Optilux 2500 Angel Eye foglights on my TA. They look sweet and the install was relatively easy, just took a few hours. The kit only cost me about $60 and I think it was well worth the money. My original factory foglights were so chipped up and the quality of light sucked. These new Hella fogs are 55 watts each instead of the factory 25w or so. And the Angel Eye LED ring looks sweet. I used the included switch so you can turn on the LED, or Foglight separately from the vehicle lights. I was able to use the factory fog light brackets with very minor modification.

Dude, those look sweet!!! I am sitting here wondering if I could somehow fit those on my camaro. I dont know if you could tuck those in there or not. What do you guys think? I have looked and they don't make any smaller that are still round. They make a little smaller one that is oval, but I dont like those as much.

Looks sweet. I plan to do the same on my T/A. How do you managed to switch leds on and off? External switch?

I'm not a fan of cutting wires, so I rigged a setup that plugs into the factory foglight plugs so the lights still operate through the factory switch. This kit comes as if you do not have any foglights at all so it has a toggle switch to either have the halo on or the h3 lamps on. I simply used the supplied wiring and wired up the switch to only operate the LED rings. I mounted the switch in my ashtray and everything has been working great. Eventually I'll be purchasing an H3 HID kit to match my headlights to complete the look. These look really nice at night.

Thanks for update, Brian.

I used the wiring that came with the kit, however I had to extend the positive and negative wires, so a little splicing, was required. I used the included switch and mounted it below the dash. I'll post some pics of my wiring and the switch location later today. Its not professional, but it looks ok. I didn't want to use the existing fog wiring as it appeared to be a thinner gauge. These fogs are twice the wattage as the stock fogs.
