JasonD's Smooth Lock covers installed *Pics*

Well Jason has been asking for pictures and I finally was able to get them installed and some pictures taken. Here's the original thread for anyone that missed it. Original thread

Little things like that do make a difference. They may seem insignificant at first but they add to the car. It looks good!

So how did you go about painting it?
just on top of it or...?

I left them on the piece of paper they came on. Light scuff with 800 or 1000 grit paper (can't remember). Then I used some model paint primer, I used that since its for plastic. Then some Light Metalic Pewter paint from the dealer, I keep some around for other apperance items. Then a couple of coats of clear. I had to trim around the smoothies before putting them on because of primer and paint being on the paper and sticking to the smoothie.
