I think I'm turning Japanese

Got my new tail lights on. Excuse the dirty car, it's been sitting since October.

Wapanese or Bapanese?

BTW, where'd you get those? I tried to find a pair about 5 years ago and everyone said they didn't make em anymore.

They don't make them anymore. You've got to keep an eye out on eBay, or if you're lucky, the classified forums.

Ebay. Everynow and then you can find a decently cheap set. There's normally at least 1 set on at a time.

I'm bored so I'll reply. Sorry to steal your thunder, Chris. They're export taillights. They were produced from 1993-1996 for all Camaros sent overseas. They weren't just for Japanese Camaros, but for European and other export areas as well. They mandate tri-color lenses over there, thus creating these lights. In 1997 when GM switched to the tri-colors we know in the US, they stopped making these and went to the 1997-2002 style.

Sorry but I like the stock ones better, that looks like a Mazda MX3 or other import...

I think they are great, but then I just bought "candy corns" for mine a couple of month ago. This is just the kind of subtle differences I like.
E-bay and the price has actually come down a little.

I like the stockers because the backup lights follow the line of the hatch

You know, those export lights also have lines that follow the hatch lines...
