How bout this for a berger panel idea?
Brushed aluminum or stainless steel, sprayed with 5 or 6 coats of something like VHT Nightshades or some other black candy tinted clearcoat? I think it would be the best of both worlds: you'd still have the contrast with the grain in the metal, but it'd look "deeper & richer" with the gloss black clear.
Anybody ever seen it done like this? Pics? Opinions? |
that sounds like a good idea. I'd have to see it though

I'm thinking on a silver car, just using a regular clear and leaving it in it's natural brushed finish might look kind've sexy.
