hood pins? fiberglass hood

hood pins? fiberglass hood

have a 97 z28, have a fiberglass ss hood. i want to put hood pins on it, the ones that have the cables. i want to run the cables from the pins, into the headlight openings. can i drill through this fiberglass hood? and what is th installation process for this? also, where can i get these?

I think Summit or Jegs has them pretty cheap. Yeah you can drill a hole through fiber glass. Go slow so you don't splinter it. Keep in mind that if you ever deside you don't like them anymore, it will be hard to go back to not having them.
