Duplicolor makes a kit for just this application. I did it on my car and 2 years later they still look great.

Where did you get it from and how much was it? |
The Eastwood Company has a complete line of products specifically for painting brakes:

the autozone i have in my town has caliper paint in 4 or 5 colors
|
buy the stuff in the can, the brush on kit takes 2-3 coats and it will leave brush lines.
1, take wheel off, clean with water and degreasor and wire brush twice, then dry with compressed air or hair dryer 2. mask off most the hub where the wheel meets and most the brake disc, it's doesn't need to be perfect because the pads will burn off the overspary. 3. do 2-3 coats of paint |
If your V6 Camaro has rear drum brakes, don't paint anything on the rear brakes, you'll thank me for that advice lol.

ok great thanks for all the help. I will do that this week... will post the pics after it is all done.
thanks! |

I've wondered about those since the '93-'97 cars don't have very attractive calipers, however, people at car shows would HAMMER you with insults for them. If they didn't say Brembo on them, they'd be more acceptable, but pretending you have $3,000+ brakes and not having them is a no no.

98-02 V6 came standard with 4 wheel disc, 96-97 only Y87 and 93-95 none. and mine are painted red $18 for the kit at AZ. |

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4-x-C...Q5fAccessories I think you'd be better off painting yours and getting some regular Caliper Decals and maybe some drilled rotors. |

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4-x-C...Q5fAccessories You might fool a couple people but anyone who knows what they are looking at is going to know right away that they are fake. Just paint your calipers and be done- maybe throw on some "Camaro" decals and you will be surprised how much just that changes the look of your car. |
