hardtop to t-top conversion

anyone know how much this would run and how good the setup can be?

Try a search.

From what I've read it's not too hard because all Camaro's have the roof for a T-Top. But in 93 there is no T-Top option, so I'm not sure if it's different.

Like I'll say in all my posts though, I could be wrong.

Yes, it can be done on all 4th gen F-Bodies fairly easily. 93 was the only year without a convertible, it DID come with T-Tops. Do a search, the topic has been covered extensively.

In 1993, there were 3,340 Camaros equipped with T-tops (RPO "CC1"), at a price of $895.

Whoops. I got Convertible and T-Top mixed up in my little head. Sorry about that.

Anyone know if there would be any structural concerns about chopping the roof?

If you're just putting the T-Tops in, there is no real concern. If you take off the headliner and the plastic A-Pillars you'll see how GM just put in two side beams and tacked them in place to form the hardtop.

I feel so popular. You can look at my website if you want to see a little of my work. I'd be happy to answer any questions, or for $400 I'll do it to yours. Summer is coming. I currently have two sets of t-top conversion kits laying around, one is spoken for. let me know what you want/need. herronz28@gmail.com is the best way to get a hold of me!
