Fender Tabs are bent - Solutions?

Shop lifted my car up incorrectly and bent the tabs, I had them repaired however then went to purchase new tires and they lifted the car up incorrectly causing perminanent tab damage, I can't get them perfect again... Is there any other way I can have this issue fixxed without paying a body shop?

are you talking about were the bottom of the fender rolls under the car into were the bolts connect with the body cause i had the same problem and i just hit it with a hammer untill it was straight

Smack it with a hammer and a block of wood. That's about all you can do. And that's all a body shop is going to do, unless your tab is broken, then they'll sell you a fender/paint/labor.

big hammer and a block of wood.

thats what you would be paying the body shop for.

I had the same problem, it didnt go back perfect but looks alot better.
the quicker you fix it, the better. It was bent when i bought car, the fender developed a memory and is sitcking out some.

I had the same thing happen on my old 2000 Z28. The fender itself is a composite plastic material, but the tab it bolts to is steel. I gingerly unbolted the bottom of the bent fender, removed the bolts, and bent the steel tab back with a huge pair of pliers. Then, I lined up the (still) bent fender, and slowly tightened the bolts until the plastic fender conformed to the newly straightened tab.

Be careful, as the tab on the fender WILL crack. I had a shop lift it incorrectly for the 2nd time, and it broke the plastic tab clean off. It still lined up, and I was selling the car anyway, so I let it go...
