Don't want to hijack this thread, but theres already enough threads about headlights, so here goes,
I tried a search but I've been at it for 2 hours with no definitive answer.
Whats the max wattage bulb you can use with the stock wiring for a 93-97 camaro, would an 80w bulb be fine? I know an 80w bulb isn't legal, but neither is my tint, lack of front plate or exhaust, so that doesn't bother me too much.

with start up current might be 8 amps. max. So you need at least an 18ga. or larger wire. As it will handle 10amps. continuous. Or a 120w bulb would be pushing the limit.
16ga. good for 156w.
14ga good for 204w.

and might give them a shot. They look pretty good, but it kinda looks cheesy with blue headlight lamps. Oh well, beggers can't be choosers i guess.

Trust me, $80 or so for a set of lowbeams is beyond worth it, and the bulbs they come with were pretty bright.
