This is neat. The seller told me he had the plastics dyed white, and recovered the upper part in white leather like the seats. He didn't tell me in any detail though... I was under the impression you couldn't dye dark plastic to a lighter color.

I don't want to say that the guy is lying, but I still have my doubts that dark plastic can be dyed white. I think it's painted! :o

It is more or less paint. It's most likely SEM vinyl and plastic dye that he used. My stepdad uses it for touch ups, but not for full color changes in interiors.
