does an oem lt1 trans am hood cost more than a WS6 hood?

I would think the Factory TA ones would be cheaper.. primiarly due to the fact that they made soo many more of them.
I thought the WS-6 OEM hoods were similar to the SS hoods for LT1 cars... to get one from GM you need a VIN number of a WS6 car.
Also, aren't the factory ones steel, wereas the WS-6 ones are laid-up fiberglass.
