When I bought my car used 2 years ago, it looked lowered. The salesman told me it was stock springs, but it sure looked lowered to me. Anyways, after I bought it and was under changing oil, I looked at the springs and they are red with "SPORTLINE 34199" writtin on one of the coils. So I figured I had Eibach Sportlines. After seeing a member in my club who just installed sportlines on his 2000 WS-6, his car is hugging the top of the tire with no gap at all. I am wondering, who ever owned my car before, did they get the wrong part number? Are these not really eibach sportlines?

I also need to know the answer to this question...
mainly, what color are they? Are all sportlines red? I thought they were, but a member of this board sold me some rear springs which he says are sportlines and they are black. I think I got ripped off.

 

the only sportlines I saw were black.

 

My buddy just got sportlines for his cougar and they were black.

 

I have Sportlines and they are RED. Maybe the older ones are different, but the ones I have now are red.
