Clear corners have water in them, need help
My passenger side clear corner has condensation in it, my driver side is fine.
Before I installed them originally, I ran a thin layer of clear silicone across the edges where the lens met the housing. Now, since I have water, I want to drill a hole in the housing so water can evaporate. Where should I drill this hole? I don't want to do it in the front of the lens outside the car, water will get in too easily there. I want to do it inside the car, on the housing: Should I drill a hole on the top, so water can evaporate, or should I drill a hole on the bottom, so water can drain out? Thanks :D |
the easiest way to deal with this is to take out the lights and drill 3 holes in the bottom of it, one on each side and one in the middle of the bottom, all the water will drain out of the lights.

I had that problem for the longest time. I finally bought new clear corners and now not one drop of water gets in there.
You gotta be careful when installing those things. If you force them in, it cracks them. |

But I have a Firebird, and I can't reach down from the top because of the hidden lights. Maybe it's different for a Camaro? Thanks for the help, guys. I'll be sure to do the 3 hole trick as soon as I can :metal: |
