Easiest way to settle it would be to go out with a tape measure and measure from top of each wheel well to the ground. Someone here probably knows stock height.

will do... soon as i can find a tape measure around here *sigh*. but anyone is welcome to chime in with the stock height from the rear wheel wells to the ground for me in the mean time! (my front fender wells are higher than stock, think its been wrecked adn replaced with aftermarket that didnt fit right cause a new GM fender well ahs to be cut to fit grrrrr)

Well, IIRC, my Pro-Kit was charcoal powdercoated springs with Eibach painted on them in white every few inches. If you want to take a look at the springs, if you can see what they look like - you might be able to tell if they are aftermarket and what brand they are etc.

I agree, just look under the rear end. If the springs aren't black they are aftermarket and the car is probably lowered a bit. They will probably even have a part number on it.

hell if the springs aren't rusty, they're probably aftermarket. Mine are covered in surface rust. although you live in TN so that might be a different story.
