Re: Best F-bod color

Black is the best color for ANY car imo...... I like oil slick black with red accents like red calipers, maybe red badges ect. Not murdered out, needs some contrast like a polished lip on the rims or even chrome rims.

I also really like "blurple" or a cobalt-ish blue on camaros.... there's one on LS1 tech that shows up on the front page all the time, that thing is gorgeous.

Re: Best F-bod color

I recently came across a thread where a guy painted his 4th gen bird flat black and it looked awesome. I think he had like $200 into materials and his own labor.

When I had the "body kit" put on my 84, it remained flat black for several months. I've never had a car attract so much attention. Because there were no emblems on it many people would stop me to find out what, "kind of car is that?!"

When I get mine painted, I am gonna go with Black Cherry Pearl. Looks black alot of the time, but shows the red in certain lights, but still a very dark red. Haven't thought about the stripe color, but I do plan on putting some on.

Re: Best F-bod color

I've seen a Camaro painted black cherry pearl before. It was either on here or ls1tech. It looked pretty good. It looked black in all of the pics except where the light was shining on it, it was a dark metallic red. I was worried when the guy started it that it'd just end up looking a red-brown color.

I'm a sucker for maple red LS1 T/A's. I think if I were to get one, I would want it in that color. LS1's look better with metallic colors, while LT1's look better in gloss colors. I had a teacher with a turbo maple red T/A that looked absolutely beautiful.

Re: Best F-bod color

I don't see how pewter can even be considered a color. Should be BLAH.
